Suggested fabrics: This tight-fitting tank is designed for stretchy knits with great recovery. Light to medium-weight jersey knit fabrics with at least 60% stretch widthwise and 40% stretch lengthwise. The designer recommends bamboo jersey or similar (modal jersey, stretchy athletic knits). If your chosen fabric has less than the recommended stretch percentage, size up.
Fabric requirements:Â The fabric requirements work for directional prints or napped fabrics. Allow extra fabric for large scale print pattern matching. You will need 0.4 yd/m extra fabric to sew a tank (A or B) with a built-in bralette.
View A (long tank): 57″ (145 cm) wide fabric: 0.8 - 0.9 yd (0.7 - 0.8 m) // 45″ (115 cm) wide fabric: 0.9 - 1.4 yd (0.8 - 1.3 m).
