Buy the Jackie Dress sewing pattern from Victory Patterns. Jackie is an elegant, easy to wear, super comfortable knit dress that slips perfectly from day into night. It features a built-up neckline and shapely seams that lengthen and emphasise your curves. The dress is fitted at the waist with a full, flowing skirt. A subtle opening at the back upper bodice closes at the neckline with three small buttons and rouleau loops. This project uses both a serger and a sewing machine. You can also make it with just a sewing machine.

Version 1 has long sleeves and falls just below mid-calf, approximately 32 1/2" (82.5 cm) down from the natural waist.

Version 2 is sleeveless and falls just below the knee, approximately 26 1/2" (67.3 cm) down from the natural waist.

Suggested fabrics: Light to mid-weight two-way stretch knit fabric with moderate to high drape. At least 20% stretch. Various knits: jersey, bamboo, cotton, modal, silk, velour, ponte, scuba.

Fabric requirements: Purchase additional fabric if lengthening your garment or using fabric with a nap, directional print or stripes.

Version 1: 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 3 3/4 - 4 1/4 yd (3.5 - 4 m) // 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 4 - 4 1/4 yd (3.7 - 4 m).

Version 2: 54" (137 cm) wide fabric: 2 1/2 - 3 yd (2.2 - 2.7 m) // 45" (114 cm) wide fabric: 3 - 3 1/4 yd (2.8 - 3 m).

Sizing: 0 - 16 (approx. UK 6 - 18). Please check the size chart and finished garment measurements.

This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5'6"- 5'9" (168-175 cm) and a B cup.
